The SKS Edge AL 46 mm provides exceptional spray protection, shielding you from water and grit kicked up by your tyres. This not only keeps your cycling apparel clean but also plays a crucial role in protecting your bike´s sensitive components. By blocking corrosive road spray and mud from reaching your drivetrain, bottom bracket, and headset, these mudguards help extend the life of your components and reduce maintenance frequency and costs. Their robust yet lightweight construction means you get durable, all-season protection without a noticeable weight penalty, making them ideal for performance-oriented cycling.Engineered for Performance and VersatilityThe Edge AL stands out with its high-performance features. The mudguards are designed to mount close to the tyre, ensuring maximum efficiency in capturing and redirecting water spray. This design is particularly effective for riders who use their bikes for high-speed commuting or training. While perfect for road and gravel bikes, this set is also an excellent choice for MTB Cycling applications, such as commuting on a mountain bike or riding on less aggressive trails where full spray coverage is desired. The integrated SKS safety system (ASR) ensures the stays will automatically unclip if an object gets caught between the spokes and the mudguard, significantly enhancing your safety on the road.--- Optional Upgrade: SKS Spoiler for Extended ProtectionFor those who face the most challenging conditions, enhance your Edge AL mudguards with the optional flexible spoiler for ultimate coverage.A clean solution: The flexible plastic spoiler can be used to extend the SKS BLUEMELS and EDGE AL mudguards by up to 137 mm.
