Sky masters: Recopilación de todas las tiras diarias (1958-1961)

Dirac Dist Sky Masters Of The Space Force (tiras Diarias 1958-1961) Comic. The Epic Space Adventure of Jack Kirby and Wally Wood Finally Complete and Improved! In 1958, three years before becoming a pillar in the creation of the Marvel Universe, Jack Kirby made a new attempt to succeed in the competitive and prestigious world of the press strip together with the legendary illustrator Wally Wood and the screenwriter Dave Wood.Their fluid narrative and impeccable composition, perfectly complemented by Wally Wood´s exquisite finish, produced a masterpiece that is finally recovered in its entirety in a single volume with a landscape format, the most suitable for presenting the press strips. For the first time internationally, the entire stage embellished by Wood - the first 264 strips of 774 - has been reproduced in its entirety from printing proofs found in a French press agency. To enjoy all the detail of this extraordinary collaboration between two legends, each page of this stage presents only two strips, which allows them to be shown at a much larger size.In addition, this book has a translation by José Mª Méndez, which greatly improves the previous edition of the defunct Glénat publishing house. The quality of reproduction of many strips in that edition was improvable, since the main source was limited. The strip narrates, with a realistic approach thanks to Kirby´s exhaustive documentation, the adventures of the protagonist, Sly Masters, during space exploration in the late 1950s within the framework of the Cold War between the US and the USSR, when any technological advance was a matter of state and was exhibited as proof of the supremacy of each side.It is a unique look at the space future, when there was still a decade left before the arrival on the Moon in 1969.The storyline of the daily strips is completely independent of the one that was developed in the Sunday plates, which were already compiled in the Aleta edition nominated for the prestigious Eisner Awards in 2019.This is the definitive edition of the historic collaboration between two geniuses whose combined talents produced an essential work!. tradeinn Techinn
