The individual elements are shaped by hand and assembled into a three-dimensional form. They are made entirely from the patented Opalflex® plastic, which was developed in-house by the Italian manufacturer Slamp. This plastic consists of technopolymers and glass crystals, which are extremely flexible and completely unbreakable. The material gives Veli an attractive, delicate contour, resulting in even light diffusion. The captivating lighting effects that emerge around the wall lamp serve either as soft, general room lighting or provide ambient light to create a decorative accent. Thanks to the practical magnetic system, the lampshade can be easily removed for cleaning. The Rome-based manufacturer Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani.
