PURPOSE BUILT: The Slice 10582 Drywall Knife was designed with advice from drywall (plasterboard) professionals. It has the look and feel of a traditional work knife, with a metal handle for a comfortable grip and a locked blade for precise scoring. INTEGRATED SAFETY COVER: The never-lost safety cover is stored neatly out of the way while the knife is in use but can be flipped in position to keep the blade safe while stored. THREE COMPATIBLE BLADES: The knife ships with the #10524 utility blade (rounded tip), and is compatible with the #10523 serrated utility blade and the #10525 utility blade (pointed tip). An extra blade can be stored with easy access at the back of the handle. SAFETY CUTTER: Slice ceramic safety blades feature our finger-friendly edge that cuts effectively, yet is safe to touch; reducing lacerations and avoiding nasty accidents. CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY: Slice’s zirconium oxide blades last up to 11 times longer than metal blades. They're durable, non-magnetic, won't rust and won't conduct electricity.
