The Smith Descend Ski Helm offers a refined balance of protection and comfort for alpine skiing. Constructed with Inmould technology, the helmet features a robust shell securely bonded to the EPS liner, providing effective impact absorption while maintaining a lightweight profile of approximately 400 grams. This ensures the helmet remains unobtrusive during extended wear. Incorporating the Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS), the Descend enhances safety by reducing rotational forces in the event of certain impacts. Ventilation is managed through the Automatic Climate Control system, which adjusts airflow intuitively according to external temperatures, helping to regulate heat and moisture within the helmet throughout varying winter conditions. Personal fit is achieved with the Wheel Fit system, allowing precise adjustment for secure and comfortable positioning. The strap fix adds to overall stability without compromising ease of use. Taken together, these features make the Smith Descend an option suited for skiers who prioritise reliable head protection paired with practical usability on the slopes.
