The Smith DESCEND MIPS Ski Helmet offers a well-balanced combination of safety, comfort, and practical features for winter sports enthusiasts. Designed with an in-mould construction, it provides a lightweight yet durable shell that effectively absorbs impact while maintaining a low profile on the slopes. This helmet incorporates EPS foam for reliable shock absorption. Additionally, it is equipped with MIPS technology, which aims to reduce rotational forces in the event of certain impacts, enhancing overall protection without compromising comfort. The wheel fit system enables precise adjustment, ensuring a secure and customised fit throughout the day. Ventilation is adjustable, allowing users to regulate airflow according to the conditions, whether skiing in milder weather or on colder, more demanding days. The detachable ear pads add versatility, offering warmth and protection against the elements or the option to remove them when preferred. The strap fix system maintains the helmet's position securely, while the matt finish lends a subtle, understated look. With a weight of approximately 400 grams, the Descend MIPS remains unobtrusive, making it a practical choice for a broad range of skiers.
