Building upon the phenomenal success of its hybrid predecessor, this 100% soft bait version delivers an unparalleled level of realism and fish-triggering action, specifically engineered to entice the largest and most cautious predators. The Soft Otus is your new secret weapon for turning slow days into unforgettable battles. The X-Rap® Otus now in a 100% soft bait version and the results are incredible. The Soft Otus benefits from the same swimming features as the X-Rap® Otus and combines it with greater versatility enabled by the infinite mounting possibilities. Designed to target large predators in various situations, this soft lure produces an attractive lateral rolling swim, even during slow recovery. When you pause, the tail stabilizes the lure as it slowly descends through the water column. This action has the gift of making all the pike in the area crack up. Thanks to its soft plastic construction, the textured skin of the Soft Otus displaces more water and thus increases vibrations. The 3D finish of the Soft Otus, imitating scales, gives it a unique and realistic appearance.Every element of the Soft Otus is meticulously crafted to provoke aggressive strikes. Its substantial profile and wide-kicking curl tail create a significant presence in the water, generating powerful vibrations and a visual disturbance that predators can´t ignore. The lure´s signature body roll perfectly mimics a struggling or wounded baitfish, an easy meal that trophy pike, musky, and zander are hardwired to attack. The slow-sinking descent on the pause is the critical moment, allowing the lure to hover and fall enticingly in the strike zone, triggering reaction bites from following fish.Whether you´re casting over submerged weed beds, slow-rolling it along deep drop-offs, or twitching it through likely ambush points, the Rapala Soft Otus offers the versatility and performance needed to excel. Its lifelike appearance, hypnotic swimming motion, and tantalizing fall make it an essential addition to any serious predator angler´s tackle box.
