A wafter should swim, but slowly sink with the weight of a hook. This critically balances the wafter and makes it blow. Because it blows when a fish feeds, it will rise faster than a conventional ground bait into the fish's mouth, resulting in more hooks. If it sinks without the weight of the hook, then it is not a wafter, it is a normal sinking bait and will not work like a wafer. Always check your product in a tub of water before using it. Band'um wafters are a bait that has a buoyancy between a bottom bait and a pop up that counteracts the weight of the hook. Perfect for use with a Method Feeder, the Band'um Wafter sits directly above the pile of pellets or ground baits on the Method Feeder meaning when a fish catches the band'um wafter into the fish's mouth, resulting in more and faster bites. A Band'um is the perfect hookbait for use with a bait band. Its unique cylindrical shape with bulbous ends means they can be attached with ease with a pellet band or bait band. The bait band sits neatly in the middle slimmer section of the band'um, meaning the hook sits perfectly below the center of the bait, meaning more hooked fish. The band around is less likely to be pulled off the hair, which means you can fish more confidently and efficiently.
