Spax Wirox Z2 4x40 Mm Countersunk Cross Head Screw 1000 Units. SPAX Wirox Z2 Countersunk Head Wood Screw 4x40mm (1000 Pack) | Universal Full ThreadElevate your woodworking and construction projects with the unparalleled performance of the SPAX Wirox Z2 Countersunk Head Wood Screw. This pack of 1000 universal screws, measuring 4. mm, is engineered in Germany to provide a superior fastening solution for professionals and discerning DIY enthusiasts alike. Designed for reliability and ease of use, these screws ensure a secure, clean, and durable connection in a wide variety of wood-based materials, including solid wood, chipboard, MDF, and even plastics. Move beyond standard fasteners and experience the innovation that makes SPAX the leading choice for secure connections. The defining feature of this screw is its advanced Wirox coating. This exclusive surface treatment offers significantly higher corrosion protection compared to conventional bright zinc plating, providing 20 times more resistance in neutral salt spray testing. This makes the screws exceptionally durable and suitable for use in open structures not directly exposed to the elements, such as carports and pergolas. Furthermore, the Wirox coating is free from chromium(VI), making it a more environmentally friendly and resource-efficient choice without compromising on strength or longevity.Installation is made remarkably effortless thanks to the signature SPAX 4CUT point. This innovative square-shaped point effectively displaces wood fibres as it drives in, drastically reducing the risk of splitting the material. This technology means that for most wood types, pre-drilling is no longer necessary, saving you valuable time and effort on the job. The 4CUT point also significantly lowers the required screwing-in torque, reducing strain on both the user and the power tool.Achieve a flawless, professional finish every time with the countersunk multi-head. This intelligently designed head features milling pockets that cleanly cut a recess as the screw is driven, allowing it to sit perfectly flush with the wood surface. This eliminates the need for countersinking separately and ensures a smooth, snag-free result ideal for cabinetry, furniture, and finishing work. The full-thread design of the screw provides maximum engagement along its entire length, creating exceptionally strong and rigid connections. This is particularly beneficial for fastening thin components securely and for applications that must withstand high tensile and compressive forces. This is the ultimate universal flat head screw wirox Full thread, Cross Slot Z2, 4CUT, offering a complete system of performance-enhancing features. The reliable Cross Slot Z2 drive ensures efficient power transmission from your driver bit for consistent and controlled installation.Key Features:* Full Thread: Provides a powerful and rigid connection along the entire screw length, ideal for securely fastening thin materials and resisting high tensile forces.* Wirox Coating: Delivers superior corrosion protection that is 20 times more effective than standard zinc plating, ensuring long-term durability for interior and covered exterior applications.* 4CUT Point: Patented square point technology reduces wood splitting and eliminates the need for pre-drilling in most materials, allowing for faster and easier installation.* Countersunk Multi-Head: Mills its own recess into the wood for a clean, flush finish without any additional work, providing a professional and aesthetically pleasing result.* Cross Slot Z2 Drive: A reliable and widely compatible drive system that ensures good torque transfer for efficient and controlled screwing.Technical Specifications:* Product Type: Screws* Material: Metal* Dimensions: 4. mm* Head Type: Flat / Countersunk* Drive: Cross Slot Z2* Pack Weight: 2.285 kg* Pack Quantity: 1000 Units. tradeinn Bricoinn
