This rigidity ensures that every watt of power you produce is transferred directly to the road, eliminating flex for more responsive acceleration and a tangible improvement in performance. The design incorporates strategically placed shifting ramps and stainless steel pins, which work in concert to guide the chain seamlessly and swiftly from the inner to the outer ring. This results in shifting that is not only fast but also incredibly smooth and dependable, even under high load. The universal compatibility of the Hegoa 11 makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of setups. It is specifically designed for traditional 5-bolt road cranksets that use the classic 130mm BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) standard, making it compatible with cranksets from all major brands. Fully optimized for modern 11-speed (11s) drivetrains, it also maintains excellent backwards compatibility with 10-speed systems, offering a flexible upgrade path for your beloved road bike. For ideal, factory-spec shifting quality, we strongly recommend combining this Hegoa 11 outer chainring with its counterpart, the Hegoa 11 inner chainring. Maintaining a tooth difference of 12 to 16 teeth between the two rings will guarantee the flawless, crisp shifting performance that SPECIALITES TA is renowned for.Manufactured entirely in France, this chainring is a testament to superior quality. It is 100% CNC machined from a single block of 7075 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, a material chosen for its incredible strength-to-weight ratio. This advanced manufacturing process ensures perfect tooth profiling and absolute concentricity for a quieter, more efficient, and longer-lasting drivetrain.
