ForgeFix Spectre™ Advanced Coach Screws are high-performance fasteners designed for load-bearing timber construction. These screws feature a hex flange head, a 60-degree deep single thread, and a quick start Type 17 slash point that eliminates the need for a pilot hole in most cases (some hardwood may still require pre-drilling). They are surface hardened and coated with an anti-corrosion Zinc Yellow coating for increased durability, and a socket driver is included for easy installation. They are UKCA/CE approved for use in timber construction.
