Spectre™ by Forgefix is an advanced multipurpose wood screw designed for performance in various applications. It features a countersunk, Pozidriv-compatible recessed head and is fully threaded up to 50 mm. The screw employs a sawtooth thread to prevent wood splitting and a reamer to prevent jacking, making it suitable for load-bearing timber construction. It is surface hardened and has a zinc yellow passivated finish for corrosion resistance, paired with a quick start type 17 slash point to facilitate easy installation. The finish is achieved through a zinc yellow passivation process, which provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance while offering protection similar to galvanised or zinc plated methods. This product is CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction and comes in a box of 500 pieces (4.0 x 60 mm, 36 mm thread length).
