This product is a box of 100 ForgeFix Spectre Advanced Coach Screws for load-bearing timber applications. They feature a hex flange head, a 60-degree deep single thread, and a quick start Type 17 slash point designed to reduce or eliminate the need for pilot holes in many cases. The screws are surface hardened and coated with an anti-corrosion Zinc Yellow finish, enhancing durability in demanding environments. A socket driver is included for convenient installation, and the fast performance is stated as three times faster than a regular coach screw. They are UKCA/CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction. Some hardwood may still require pre-drilling.
