SPRO Iris Twitchy DR Jointed Minnow 9g 75 mmUnleash the irresistible action of the SPRO Iris Twitchy DR Jointed Minnow 9g 75mm, a masterfully engineered lure designed to dominate deeper water columns and trigger aggressive strikes from the most discerning predatory fish. This lure is the pinnacle of twitchbait design, offering an exceptional combination of performance, action, and realism that sets a new standard for minnow lures in its class. The art of twitchbait fishing is a proven and highly effective method for success. As SPRO notes, Fishing with Twitchbaits is a very popular and effective technique to seduce all kinds of predatory fish. Finding a good and affordable twitchbait that has the right characteristics is sometimes difficult. The in-house designed IRIS Twitchy is packed with features a good twitchbait should have. Twitchy can be cast far and accurately and is very well balanced with a suspending action. It has a nervous baitfish action and is available in an all-round snacksize of 7.5cm. This is the perfect baitfish imitation. Available in 2 diving depths and even a 2 piece jointed version which has a slightly more vibrant and lifelike action. Naturally the lures are equipped with super sharp Gamakatsu trebles.Unmatched Lifelike Jointed ActionThe defining feature of this model is its two-piece jointed construction. This design gives the SPRO Iris Twitchy DR an incredibly fluid and vibrant S-shaped swimming motion on a straight retrieve. However, its true magic is revealed when twitched. Sharp, erratic jerks of the rod tip cause the lure to dart and pivot unpredictably, perfectly mimicking a wounded or panicked baitfish. The jointed body amplifies this movement, creating a secondary kick that fish find simply impossible to ignore. This enhanced, lifelike action makes it significantly more enticing than standard single-body minnows.Deep-Diving PerformanceEngineered as a Deep Runner (DR), this specific model is your go-to weapon for exploring deeper water. With a precisely calculated diving depth of up to 2.5 meters, it allows you to effectively target fish holding near the bottom, along drop-offs, or suspended in the mid-water column where other lures can´t reach. Its aggressive diving lip gets it down into the strike zone quickly and keeps it there, maximizing your time in the most productive water.Perfectly Suspending for Extended StrikesOne of the most critical attributes of a premium twitchbait is its ability to suspend flawlessly. The Iris Twitchy DR excels in this regard. When you pause your retrieve after a series of twitches, the lure hangs motionless, tantalizingly suspended in the strike zone. This pause gives following predators the perfect opportunity to commit and strike. This suspending nature is ideal for cooler water temperatures or when fish are less aggressive, turning hesitant followers into solid hook-ups.Superior Casting and HardwareAchieve superior casting distance and pinpoint accuracy with every throw. The SPRO Iris Twitchy DR Jointed Minnow is internally balanced to perfection, ensuring it flies true through the air without tumbling, even in challenging windy conditions. Falling within the versatile 1-10 gr weight class and the 71-100 mm size range, its 9-gram weight and 75mm profile make it an ideal choice for a wide variety of species including perch, zander, pike, and bass. To complete this premium package, the lure comes armed with world-renowned, ultra-sharp Gamakatsu treble hooks, guaranteeing a solid and secure hookset the moment a fish attacks.
