The housing is made of Air Grade aluminium and fitted with carbon cover, which makes the reel light in weight as well as extremely strong. The parts on the outside of the reel are also made entirely of aluminium. For example, the drag knob and the lock nut of the handle are made of one piece of solid aluminium.
