This iconic bait has earned its place in angling history by consistently putting trophy fish in the boat, and its effectiveness remains unmatched. The famous SPRO Rapper was one of the first jerkbaits in the market, and there´s a good reason why it´s still popular today. The erratic gliding action of The Rapper in combination with built in rattles and a slow sinkrate makes The Rapper a true Pike magnet.Made from a special high impact resistant material and equipped with razor sharp Gamakatsu Treble 13 hooks, this lure is ready for some serious action!Engineered for excellence, The Rapper 128 stands out with its unique and irresistible action. Unlike standard crankbaits, this lipless glider comes to life with short twitches and jerks of the rod tip, causing it to dart and glide erratically from side to side. This unpredictable movement perfectly mimics a wounded or disoriented baitfish, an easy meal that large predators like Pike and Musky cannot resist. The slow-sinking nature of the lure is a key tactical advantage, allowing you to pause your retrieve and let the bait hover enticingly in the strike zone. It´s during this pause that many of the most explosive strikes occur, as following predators are triggered into an aggressive reaction. This lure´s appeal isn´t just visual. Integrated into its body is a multi-ball rattle system that creates a distinct acoustic signature in the water. This sound calls fish in from a distance, drawing their attention even in stained water or low-light conditions. The combination of the mesmerizing glide and the provoking rattle makes The Rapper a dual-threat weapon that appeals to a predator´s primary senses. Falling within the versatile 30-49 gr weight class, it casts with exceptional distance and accuracy, allowing you to cover vast areas of water and pinpoint likely fish-holding structures. Its substantial 128 mm profile, fitting perfectly in the 101-150 mm size range, presents a significant meal that is ideal for targeting alpha predators. As a premier example of high-performance Lipless Crankbaits (glider style), the SPRO Rapper is built to withstand the most brutal attacks. Its body is constructed from a high-impact, ultra-durable material designed to resist the crushing jaw pressure and sharp teeth of monster pike. This durability ensures your investment lasts season after season.
