It provides the gearing you need to spin up the steepest gradients and still have the power for fast descents and flat-out sprints. The key to the XG-1250´s performance lies in SRAM´s X-Range gearing philosophy. By starting with a 10-tooth cog, this cassette offers a massive 360% range (10-36T), all while maintaining smaller, more logical steps between gears. This means you´ll experience smoother, more intuitive shifting and will always find the perfect cadence, whether you´re grinding out a long climb or pushing the pace on the flats. The wide range is specifically designed to pair with a SRAM Rival Wide front derailleur and crankset, creating a system that gives you confidence on any route.Built for durability and reliable performance, the cassette features SRAM's FULL PIN construction. This technology uses lightweight, stamped steel cogs held together by high-strength stainless steel pins, resulting in a cassette that is both lightweight and incredibly robust for miles of hard riding. The entire cassette is finished with a premium nickel-chrome plating, which not only provides a sleek, silver appearance but also ensures quieter operation and excellent longevity, resisting wear and corrosion in all conditions. As a core component of the SRAM AXS wireless ecosystem, the XG-1250 integrates seamlessly for crisp, reliable electronic shifting. While this cassette is a pinnacle of SRAM engineering, its wide-range capability makes it a leading choice for custom bike builds, often considered by riders building the ultimate gravel machine and comparing top-tier components from brands like Shimano.
