This Stanley FatMax BladeArmor Tape is designed for professional use with metric graduations. It features a Mylar coated steel blade that extends up to 8 meters (32 mm wide) and delivers a stand-out of 3.35 meters for accurate, on-site measurements. The blade is protected by Blade Armor coating and Mylar, improving durability and resistance to wear. The tape uses a controlled retraction recoil mechanism with automatic lock, and the end hook is riveted three times for reliability in both internal and external measurements. The housing is a robust DynaGrip bimaterial construction with a high-impact ABS case and an oversized rubber bumper to prolong life and increase durability and comfort. The Tru-zero end hook is corrosion resistant with three rivets and supports top, bottom, and side hooks for versatile measurements. The blade’s first 8 centimeters are specially coated to reduce breakage risk, and the forward blade lock design simplifies operation. Factory calibration provides reliability for precise DIY and professional tasks in metric-only configurations.
