Starrett 827B Edge Finder - Double End - 0.5in Body, 0.2in Contact

A double end edge finder tool designed to quickly and accurately locate features on workpieces with straight edges, shoulders, grooves, studs, dowels, centre points, and scribed lines. The tool is available in variants with differing body and contact diameters, all crafted from tool steel that is hardened, ground and lapped for precision and durability.

This edge finder is described in several configurations. One version features a 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) body diameter with a 0.2 inch (approximately 5.08 mm) contact diameter. A separate variant offers a 10 mm body diameter with a 6 mm contact diameter. Both variants share the same construction material and manufacturing quality, being made of tool steel that is hardened, ground and lapped.
