Starrett BI Metal Cordless Smooth Cutting Holesaws are designed for exceptional strength, durability, and shatter resistance. The 16 mm holesaw features hardened heat- and abrasion-resistant high-speed steel teeth and a tough alloy body and cap, enabling reliable performance with battery-operated power tools. A constant pitch of 8 teeth per 25 mm ensures smooth cuts, while side grooves speed chip evacuation. The tool is designed to cut twice as many holes per battery charge compared with standard holesaws, making it efficient for onsite work. This complete assembly includes an arbor, pilot drill, and ejector spring, so no separate arbor or pilot drill kit is required. It is suitable for cutting stainless steel, tool steel, mild steel sheeting, plasterboard, wood, and thin plastics. A flared safety stop cap at the base prevents drilling beyond the maximum cutting depth, protecting users and workpieces.

Usage

Ideal for on-site work with battery-powered tools. Insert the pilot drill until the hole saw wears the material’s surface. When cutting begins, advance slowly without forcing. Stop after the saw passes through the opposite side. This holesaw is designed to cut twice as many holes per battery charge as standard holesaws.

Safety stop at the base of the holesaw prevents drilling beyond maximum cutting depth.
