The Starrett Fast Cut Bi-Metal Hole Saw is designed for efficient and smooth cutting across a range of materials. It features an extra cobalt HSS tooth material and a 5.5 TPI positive rake tooth design to deliver a smoother, faster cut with enhanced heat and wear resistance. The bi-metal construction supports durability and heat resistance, making it suitable for cutting stainless steel, mild steel, and thin-walled tubes up to 3 mm (1/8 in). The saw depth is 41 mm (1.5 inches) and the diameter is 52 mm, with 30% extra gullet volume to improve material penetration. It is compatible with standard hole saw arbors and drill machines. Note that arbor and pilot drill are not included. This model is designed for use in metalworking, woodwork, plumbing, electrical work, and other interior projects where a reliable, clean cut is required.
