Overview

Ideal for production cutting and use in drills with limited speed control. Safe operation is supported by a design that resists rust and provides durable performance in sheet metal up to 3mm thick (1/8in) for Starrett models, with a depth stop feature described to prevent drilling beyond a maximum cutting depth. These hole saws are suitable for cutting high alloy and stainless steels, non-ferrous light metals and reinforced fabrics at faster speeds than bi-metal counterparts.

A safety stop at the base of the hole saw prevents drilling beyond the maximum cutting depth of 13mm (1/2″) to avoid accidents and damage.
