This foil radiant barrier reduces solar gain in summer and boosts insulation in winter. Its reflective properties enhance the building fabric's U-value, making it perfect for achieving maximum energy performance in new builds and retrofits. SFTV creates an airtight layer for the entire building envelope. It is reflective silver foil, weighs 4kg, less than 1mm thick, and measures 20m in length by 1.2m in width, covering 24m. Install SFTV on the "warm" side, sealing seams and holes carefully for moisture vapour-proofing and better thermal performance. It must be a continuous barrier to stop vapour entering walls or roofs. All laps should be 150mm minimum and sealed with SF Jointing Tape. Seal around penetrations, and use sided SuperFOIL tape when the barrier is breached by construction elements..
