Concrete strengths are improved by keeping the concrete damp during hardening. Coverage Guidance: Recommended minimum thickness is 75mm for foot traffic paths and 100mm for driveways on well-compacted foundations intended for vehicular traffic. For best results, use the concrete within 30 minutes of mixing with water. Protect newly laid concrete from the weather until fully hardened. Easy To Mix: Ensure surfaces are clean and free from oil, grease, and loose material before use. Empty the full contents of the bag and mix thoroughly, as materials may segregate during transport. Add clean water gradually and mix to the desired consistency using a mechanical mixer or by hand on a clean, flat, moisture‑resistant surface. If only part of the bag is required, first mix the entire contents on a clean, dry surface, then return any unused material to the bag or a suitable container, before making the mix. Avoid adding excess water, as this may reduce strength and durability of the concrete. Storage: Store in unopened bags, clear of the ground in cool, dry conditions; chromium (VI) levels remain within required limits for up to 12 months from the date on the bag.
