Whether you are navigating winding asphalt roads or tackling challenging unpaved trails, the ION footpegs provide a stable and versatile platform that inspires confidence in every situation. The core benefit of the ION footpeg system lies in its exceptional adaptability. For long-distance touring, the included removable rubber top surface provides excellent vibration damping, reducing fatigue in your feet and legs for a more comfortable journey. When the terrain gets rough and you need maximum grip, simply remove the rubber pad to reveal a profiled, anti-slip surface texture. This aggressive tread ensures your boots stay planted, offering superior control and feedback when standing on the pegs through technical sections.Ergonomics are crucial for adventure riding, and the SW-MOTECH ION footpegs deliver customizable comfort. They feature an intelligent two-position adjustment system. You can either mount them at the original factory height or choose to lower them by 15 mm. This lowering option is a game-changer for taller riders, providing much-needed extra legroom and a more relaxed knee angle. This adjustability allows you to fine-tune your riding position for optimal comfort and control, reducing strain on long days in the saddle.Durability is paramount for any component on an adventure motorcycle. These footpegs are constructed from high-quality, corrosion-resistant cast stainless steel, ensuring they can withstand the rigors of the road, exposure to the elements, and the impacts of off-road riding. The robust build quality guarantees long-lasting performance and a premium look that perfectly complements the rugged aesthetic of the Yamaha Ténéré 700. The larger-than-stock foot area provides a more substantial platform, distributing pressure more evenly and enhancing stability, whether you are seated or standing.Installation is designed to be simple and straightforward.
