Designed for dedicated skiers and racing technicians within the Maintenance and Tools category, this high-performance tool is engineered to meticulously clean and prepare your ski bases, ensuring they are perfectly receptive to new wax. By effectively removing old wax, dirt, and micro-fibers from the base structure, the T19S lays the foundation for superior wax absorption and unparalleled on-snow performance.Professional-Grade Base CleaningThe primary function of the SWIX T19S is to aggressively yet safely open up the pores of your P-Tex base. This crucial pre-waxing step clears out hardened, old wax and contaminants that can hinder performance, revealing a fresh and receptive surface. The Racing Roto Steel Cross Country 70mm brush is a core part of our comprehensive series of XC brushes in 70mm, allowing you to combine the brushes that best suit your purpose. The steel brush is specifically used to clean the base of your skis before applying hot wax, making it the first and most critical tool in your waxing sequence for achieving a factory-fresh finish.Efficient and Modular SystemAs part of the versatile SWIX 70mm XC rotobrush series, the T19S offers exceptional modularity and efficiency. Its 70mm width is specifically designed to be combined with other brushes on a single 140mm roto cover handle, such as the SWIX T15-140. This innovative system allows you to create a custom, time-saving setup. Since you are attaching a 70mm brush to a 140mm roto cover handle, you can easily combine brushes. For example, you can mount one steel brush and one horsehair brush on the same handle, enabling you to perform two maintenance steps in fewer passes and streamlining your entire workflow.Optimized for PerformanceFor optimal results, attach your T19S brush to the roto cover and secure it to your power drill. SWIX recommends using a drill with a minimum rotational speed of 1800 RPM for the best results. Apply light pressure and move the rotating brush in smooth, overlapping movements from the tip of the ski all the way down to the ski´s tail. This systematic approach guarantees a uniformly clean and structured base, ready for your next layer of wax.Elevate your ski maintenance from a chore to a science. The SWIX T19S Steel Rotobrush is not just a tool, it´s an investment in speed, glide, and the longevity of your equipment.
