Champagne Taittinger’s origins date back to 1734 when the original House was founded by Jacques Fourneaux. Taittinger is one of the few top Champagne Houses actively owned, and run, by the family named on the label. Taittinger Vintage is made only years considered good enough to release a Vintage Champagne. Made only in the best vintages this 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir provides impeccable body and finesse. Whilst still showing the elegance and sophisitication that is the Taittinger style, the Vintage offers more weight and body with nutty characters, excellent concentration and a long, full-flavoured finish. Aged for 6 years in the 4th Century cellars Perfect with canapés: smoked salmon, pâté or even a hard cheese such as Gruyère.
