Tascam Fr-av4 Sound Recorder. Unlock pristine audio capture for your musical projects with the TASCAM FR-AV4, a versatile and powerful four-track sound recorder designed to be the centerpiece of your mobile and home studio. Engineered with TASCAM´s legendary audio fidelity, this portable recorder delivers professional-grade results for musicians, songwriters, and sound designers who demand quality and flexibility without compromise. The FR-AV4 instantly adapts to any recording environment thanks to its pair of high-quality, built-in unidirectional stereo condenser microphones. Easily adjust the capsules between an A/B position for a wide, ambient stereo field that captures the full character of a room or acoustic performance, and an X/Y position for a tight, phase-coherent stereo image with a clear center, ideal for focused sources like a solo instrument or vocal. This built-in versatility ensures you have the right tool for every situation, from recording a full band rehearsal to capturing delicate acoustic nuances.Expand your creative potential with dual professional-grade inputs. The TASCAM FR-AV4 is equipped with locking Neutrik XLR/TRS combo jacks that welcome everything from your favorite condenser microphones—complete with switchable +48V phantom power—to electric guitars, basses, keyboards, and line-level outputs from a mixer. This allows for true four-track recording, enabling you to simultaneously capture two external sources alongside the built-in stereo microphones. Imagine recording a singer-songwriter´s vocal and guitar on separate, isolated tracks while also capturing the natural room ambience for a rich, layered, and professional-sounding production.Built for the creative process, the FR-AV4 includes a musician-centric overdubbing mode. This non-destructive function allows you to lay down a new performance while listening to a previously recorded track, making it effortless to build complex arrangements layer by layer. Record a rhythm guitar part, then seamlessly overdub a lead line, vocals, and harmonies, all within a single, portable device. To safeguard your once-in-a-lifetime takes, the innovative Dual Recording mode automatically captures a second safety track at a lower level, providing an undistorted backup in case of unexpected volume spikes during a live performance or dynamic session.Bridging the gap between field recording and studio production, the FR-AV4 also functions as a high-definition 2-in/2-out USB audio interface. Connect it directly to your Mac or PC to record directly into your preferred Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), using its high-quality preamps and converters to elevate your computer-based recordings. This dual functionality makes it an incredible value, serving as both a stand-alone recorder on the go and the front end for your home studio. With support for high-resolution 96kHz/24-bit audio, every detail of your performance is captured with stunning clarity and depth, meeting the standards for commercial release. The TASCAM FR-AV4 is more than a recorder, it´s a complete, portable audio solution for the modern musician. tradeinn Techinn
