Set of hand-decorated porcelain statuettes. They are three different representations of Fukurokuju. Fukurokuju is one of the Seven Divinities of Fortune, characters of Japanese mythology. It is the divinity of wisdom, happiness, and longevity. The term by which it is identified comes from the combination of Fuku = Happiness, Roku = Wealth and ju = Long Life. It’s depicted as a man with a high forehead, bald and long mustaches, always wearing a stick. Its companions are a turtle (symbol of long life) and a crane (symbol of wisdom).
