Forgefix TechFast Composite Panels to Steel Hex Screws are designed to securely join composite panels to steel frame buildings. These screws feature a specially designed compression control thread to prevent damage and denting of panels, and come with 19mm EPDM rubber washers for enhanced sealing and protection. They are fire and corrosion resistant, protected by Elementech corrosion resistant coating and salt spray tested for up to 1000 hours, offering durable performance in exposed or challenging environments. The screws are sized at 5.5 x 120mm and are intended for self-drilling in light gauge steel up to 5mm, with a No.3 drill tip. They comply with EU Safety, Health and Environmental requirements, providing a robust fastening solution for attaching composite panels to steel frame constructions.
