TechFast Light Duty Timber to Steel Roofing Screws 5.5 x 100mm Elementech Box 100

Forgefix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws join timber to steel frame buildings. Breakaway wings create a clearance hole to protect the thread from engaging timber when drilling, reaming a hole and breaking off on contact with the metal surface. The screws feature a TORX® compatible insert for higher power transmission and improved countersinking from recessed ribs. They are fire and corrosion resistant and compliant with EU Safety, Health and Environmental requirements. Specifications include size 5.5 x 100mm, clamping thickness 80mm, effective thread length 79mm, pack size 100, and drill tip No.3 for self-drilling steel up to 5mm.
