Forgefix TechFast Metal Roofing to Timber Screws are designed to securely join metal roofing panels to timber frame buildings. They feature a self-drilling T17 Gash Point that eliminates the need for pre-drilling, enabling rapid installation. The screws are suitable for steel thicknesses of 0.5–1.2 mm and come with 16 mm EPDM rubber washers. They are protected by an Elementech corrosion resistant coating and are fire and corrosion resistant, with salt spray testing coverage to 1000 hours. These attributes help ensure a durable, reliable connection between metal roofing panels and timber structures while minimizing panel damage through a compression control thread design.
