Forgefix TechFast Metal Roofing to Timber Screws are designed to securely join metal roofing panels to timber frame buildings. These screws feature a self-drilling point and a compression control thread to prevent panel damage, enabling rapid installation and reliable hold. They are treated with Elementech corrosion resistant coating for outdoor durability and are paired with a 16mm EPDM washer to form a watertight seal that resists moisture ingress. The screws are fire and corrosion resistant and suitable for fastening corrugated or profiled metal cladding directly to wooden purlins or timber frames. With a size of 6.3 x 60mm and an 8mm hex head, they are intended for steel thicknesses of 0.5–1.2mm and come in pack sizes of 100.”
