From the Kurayoshi Distillery comes The Matsui Mizunara Cask, which unsuprisingly has been aged in rare Japanese Mizunara oak. The no age statement single malt was bottled at 48% ABV, after blending with water from Mt. Daisen. TASTING NOTES - NOSE - Fresh and floral aroma followed by sweet vanilla and spices. PALATE - A velvety palate with notes of oak, cinnamon, ginger and a touch of chilli spice, balanced by a caramel sweetness. Final" FINISH - Persistent with floral notes of oak, tobacco and vanilla.
