Thompson's One Coat Water Seal - 2.5L

Thompson's One Coat Water Seal is a high-performance waterproofing solution that uses a micro silicone emulsion to block water penetration. It can be applied in one coat directly onto damp surfaces, delivering long-lasting protection within hours. Suitable for brick, concrete, stone and wood, it helps prevent damage from freeze and thaw and reduces efflorescence.

The product comes in a 2.5 litre tin and provides around 4 m² of coverage per litre. It dries in about 2 hours and can be applied with a brush or roller. Surfaces should be prepared first: scrub with a stiff bristle brush, fill cracks and carry out pointing repairs if needed. Shake the tin well before use and apply in 1 m sections from the bottom upwards, ensuring the entire area, including mortar lines, is saturated.

In addition to the clear finish and quick dry time, One Coat Water Seal is designed for use on concrete, stone and brick and helps to stop damage caused by freeze and thaw while reducing efflorescence.

Usage

1. Prepare the surface by scrubbing it with a stiff bristle brush.
2. Fill any cracks and perform pointing repairs if necessary.
3. Shake the tin well before use.
4. Apply using a brush or roller, working in 1m sections from the bottom upwards.
5. Ensure the entire area, including mortar lines, is saturated.
