The Thor 222 Copper / Rawhide Hammer Size 5 is a versatile soft-faced hammer designed for automotive and general engineering applications. It is suitable for assembly, repair, and maintenance, delivering a heavy blow in a relatively small striking area. The hammer features a malleable iron head with one face made of pure copper and the other from highly compressed buffalo hide, both designed to wear and be replaced, with spare faces available. It is available in six different weights. The No.4 size uses a slip-on handle, while all other sizes use a wedge type handle.
