DECKING PROTECTOR - Timbashield's Natural Decking Protector is a high-performance water-based decking stain made from a blend of waxes and natural oils to provide long term exterior protection for softwood decking. Our protector also extends the lifespan of the wood by adding a film that is resistant to fungal growth. HIGH-PERFORMING - Long lasting and durable, Timbashield Decking Protector maintains a high level of water resistance on horizontal surfaces that are prone to extended contact with water. The protector deeply penetrates into the wood to enhance resistance to water swelling that can cause wood cracking and warping. This stain leaves a natural surface appearance and a coasting that will not crack, flake or blister. EASY APPLICATION - For the best application, always use a good quality brush. Start in the furthest corner and apply along the length of the board in the direction of the grain. Brush out thoroughly and do not leave pooling or any areas flooded as this may lead to patchiness. Apply a second coat within 4-6 hours. OUR RECOMMENDATION - We would always recommend that you apply the Decking Protector to a small inconspicuous area (and allow it to dry) prior to extensive use.
