The TIMco Multi-Fix screw is a rapid, light-duty anchoring system designed for fixing into concrete, brick, stone, concrete block, and wood. It features a 30mm hi-lo starting thread to aid insertion and debris removal, helping achieve a secure fixing in a variety of substrates. The screw is designed to replace traditional fixings such as nylon frame and hammer fixings and is made of all steel with a flat countersunk head and five locking ribs. It uses serrated V-threads for optimum insertion, a TX drive recess to reduce wear and prevent camming-out, and is zinc plated with yellow passivation for increased corrosion resistance. It conforms to BS 7671 18th edition requirements for wiring systems to be supported by materials unlikely to prematurely collapse in a fire. This through-fixing serves as a single solution for fixing into multiple materials and is suitable for fitting windows and door frames.
