The TIMco Twin Thread Zinc Countersunk Woodscrew is designed for general use in softwood and various hardwoods. This traditional twin-thread screw features a single lead start for fast installation and is effective in soft timber applications. It is designed and manufactured to BS 1210 standards and includes a double countersunk head to reduce head shear and aid countersinking, with a parallel shank for faster insertion and greater pull-out resistance. The screw is partially threaded from 1 1/4 inch, made from C10-18 steel with zinc plating, and is compatible with plastic expansion plugs. It is optimized for performance in soft timber and masonry scenarios when used with a plastic plug.
