Description

Timco 3.0 x 16mm Classic Stainless Steel Countersunk Wood Screws are designed for superior durability and corrosion resistance in a variety of joining applications. Made from Austenitic Stainless Steel (A2-304), these screws are suitable for softwoods, hardwoods (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastic, and are intended for environments where corrosion resistance is critical. The product includes a double countersunk head and a sharp point to facilitate penetration, with a 40-degree deep single thread to provide high pull-out resistance. A new patented molecular lubrication is designed to enhance insertion time, while the screws are surface hardened to help prevent torque-induced failure. Salt spray resistance has been tested to BS EN 9227 for performance in modest salt atmospheres. This model emphasizes corrosion resistance and robust fixing in challenging substrates where stainless steel is preferred.
