TIMco Solo woodscrews are designed for versatility across timber, man-made boards, and masonry installations using a plastic plug. They feature a single-thread design and a 25° sharp point to promote fast starts and secure fixing. The screws are wax lubricated to aid insertion, improve driving torque, and enhance corrosion resistance. They offer a 40° deep single thread for high pull-out resistance and are available with cross recess double countersink in zinc-yellow or zinc-clear plating. Sizes include 3.5 x 15mm, with fully threaded behavior up to 70mm for most lengths; longer lengths (80mm and above) have a 70mm thread length. These woodscrews are intended for use where reliable performance and ease of driving are important, including use with plastic plugs in masonry when required.
