Timco 4.0 x 60mm Classic Stainless Steel Countersunk Wood Screws are manufactured from A2 stainless steel to provide corrosion resistance. Suitable for softwoods, hardwoods (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastics, they are recommended for use in corrosive environments or with materials that have inherent corrosive characteristics, such as Green Oak. Key features include a double countersunk head to reduce head shear, a 25° sharp point for easy penetration, a 40° deep single thread for secure fixing and high pull-out resistance, patented molecular lubrication to aid insertion, and surface hardening up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing.
