The TIMco 8 x 70mm Solo Coach Screws are a versatile, heavy‑duty coach screw designed as a modern replacement for traditional DIN 571 screws. Featuring a hex flange head and a Type 17 slash point, they drive easily with reduced splitting across a variety of materials. The partially threaded shank provides strong clamping, while a large fixed washer aids clamping and helps prevent head pull‑through. These screws are zinc plated with yellow passivation for corrosion resistance and are compatible with impact tools in high torque applications. Suitable for softwood, hardwood, man-made board, or masonry when used with a nylon plug, they come in a box of 50 and include a socket driver for convenient use.
