Timco 5.0 x 60mm Classic Stainless Steel Countersunk Wood Screws are designed for durability and corrosion resistance across a range of common timber and substrate applications. Manufactured from Austenitic Stainless Steel (A2-304), these screws are suitable for softwoods, hardwoods (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, plastic, and environmentally corrosive materials such as Green Oak. They feature a double countersunk head and a 25° sharp point to aid penetration, with a single coarse thread and a deep 40° thread to provide high pull-out resistance. A patented molecular lubrication aims to enhance insertion time and further improve corrosion resistance. The screws are surface hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing and are rated for corrosion resistance in urban and industrial areas with moderate salt exposure. Each pack contains 200 screws and uses a PZ2 driver bit for installation.
