The Classic Multi-Purpose Screw is designed for high corrosion resistance, manufactured from A2 stainless steel. It is suitable for fixing into softwoods, hardwood (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, and plastic, and is recommended where corrosive environments or materials with inherent corrosive characteristics are present, such as Green Oak. The screw features a double countersunk head, a 25° sharp point, and a single coarse thread, with surface hardening up to 750 HV to help prevent torque shear and improve durability. It is tested for salt spray resistance and offers strong pull-out performance in a range of substrates, including hardwood, softwood, chipboard, MDF, plastic, thin sheet metal, and corrosive wood. A patented molecular lubrication is designed to enhance insertion time and provide greater resistance to corrosion, supporting reliability in challenging environments.
