This Classic Multi-Purpose Screw is manufactured from A2 stainless steel to deliver excellent corrosion resistance in demanding environments. It is designed for fixing to softwoods, hardwood (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF and plastic, making it suitable for projects where durable, long-lasting performance is required. The screw features a double countersunk head to reduce head shear and aid countersinking, and a 40 degree deep single thread that provides secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. Its 25 degree sharp point facilitates easy penetration, while a special thread configuration contributes to overall efficiency and strong withdrawal resistance. Surface hardening up to 750 HV helps prevent torque-induced damage, and the stainless steel construction ensures robust performance in corrosive environments or with materials that have inherent corrosive characteristics, such as Green Oak.
