The TIMCO Classic Multi-Purpose Countersunk Gold Woodscrews are designed for versatile use across hardwood, chipboard, MDF, plastic, and thin sheet metal. They feature a double countersunk head to reduce the likelihood of head shear and to assist countersinking. A 25° sharp point facilitates penetration, and a 40° deep single thread configuration provides secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. The thread design is complemented by new patented molecular lubrication and a corrosion-resistant plating, contributing to consistent performance and longevity. Made from C10-22 steel and surface hardened to 750 HV, the screws are protected by a yellow passivate coating of 5-8 microns, enhancing corrosion resistance while maintaining strength for demanding applications.
