This plasterboard fixing screw is manufactured to high standards for securing plasterboard to wall and ceiling track systems with a maximum thickness of 0.6 mm. It is made from C10-18 steel and surface hardened up to 750 HV to resist torque shearing under load. The screws are available with either zinc plating or black phosphate finish to provide corrosion resistance and withstand a salt spray test of up to 50 hours. They are fully threaded up to 50 mm and partially threaded thereafter, featuring a 25 Super Sharp point and a 60 thread count to aid precise driving. The fastener complies with JISB1125 (1995) and has been independently tested to ASTMC1002-89 specifications, reflecting its suitability for plasterboard track applications.
