Its innovative design features a coarse self-tapping thread with wings that ream out the timber, allowing the screw to achieve maximum revolutions per minute (R.P.M.) without overheating. Upon contact with metal, the wings break off, enabling the thread to self-tap into the metal for a strong hold.
