It is German tested and PGM approved to ensure dimensional precision and reliable performance when drilling in concrete and masonry. The bit has a 6.0 mm diameter and 210 mm length, with a nickel chromoly shank and a tungsten carbide tip. It uses cold-formed blanks up to 11 mm diameter, is fully heat treated to prevent bending, and employs a twin flute design to enhance drilling efficiency. Caution is advised for rebar drilling, which can reduce tool life, and chisel tip SDS drills can shear if the tip snags reinforcing while passing alongside.
